Getting Drone Help
You've probably heard by now about the big new tech hobby that is blowing up online retailers everywhere: drones. Drones are mechanical devices that you can fly through the air. They come in all shapes and sizes and can be used for tons of different applications. Some people fly drones in order to see them do tricks in the air. Other people fly drones in order to attach a camera to their machine and get aerial footage. No matter how you approach the art of drone flying you need to understand a few things before you do it.
As we said above: drones come in all shapes and sizes and as such you need to have a clear idea of what you want to accomplish with your drone flying. Do you want to do tricks? Do you want to take aerial footage? Whatever you want to do, make sure you set your target on something you'll enjoy. From there you'll be able to push forward onto the buying and learning stages of the hobby. The drone hobby goes wide and deep so you'll have a lot to learn before you are comfortable with just the controller and your free time.
Now that you've ostensibly picked what you want to do with your drone it is time to take it out and get familiar with it. You'll want to invite a friend along, ideally one familiar with drones, and have them be your safety net in case something goes sideways while you are flying. With them there you'll be able to relax as you learn the ins and outs of your device. Don't be afraid to ask questions and take your time. Everyone wants to fly as fast and far as possible but you'll need to take it slow on the approach.
